1. Artist: Sophie Truax
Genre: Indie-pop, alternative
Song: 10 FEET TALL
I found Sophie Truax through her puppets on social media. She has a very quirky and funny personality, and I was delighted when I found out she makes music. 10 FEET TALL is her newest single, and is followed by an ongoing joke that the puppet version of herself ghost-wrote the song, and helped produce the song but wasn’t credited. There’s a whole separate account for the puppet and ongoing beef between Sophie and her puppet counterpart…
2. Artist: Full Circle Boys
Genre: Pop
Song: FREE 99
The Full Circle Boys were recommended to me on YouTube through this specific song. The music video followed them doing a real experiment by knocking on people’s doors and asking the people to let them dance for them. I found the music video very entertaining, and the music to be incredibly catchy. The song is definitely a summer song for me and I will be blasting it in my car.
3. Artist: Hailey Knox
Genre: R&B, pop
Song: 11th Hour
Where do I even start?? I found Hailey Knox through Spotify recommendations, but her music is incredible. I love her backing tracks and this song especially has such a catchy chorus. I listened to this song on repeat for 3 days straight because it’s that good. Her voice has an incredible depth and her vocals are so smooth that it creates such an addicting sound.
