Club Spotlight: Spanish Honors Society

Clubs

For this edition, Ram Report highlightings a longstanding club, the Spanish Honors Society. Spanish Honors Society is available for students who take Spanish III or higher and want to connect and educate the MVS community. Spanish Honors Society publishes articles on various topics by their students. They’ve explored things such as Hispanic countries and traditional foods. The club enjoys activities such as playing board games, sharing food, and watchi movies.

The leaders of the Spanish honors society include Avani Jain and Patience Peterson, who both wanted to lead the club because of their passion for Spanish, “Having observed how it was run in previous years, they were eager to implement fresh ideas and make it even more engaging. For Patience, taking on a leadership role in the club has been a goal since her brother’s involvement, making this opportunity especially meaningful for her. Together, the club strives to create a vibrant and enriching space where students can enhance their speaking skills while gaining a meaningful understanding of Hispanic culture.”

Spanish Honors Society beets on Day 2 in Señora’s McEwan’s room for 30 minutes to an Hour.
