This past Thursday was this year’s immersion open house! All ten immersions gathered in the gymnasium for a showcase of wonderful projects, photos, and special performances. One of the main highlights were the Martial Arts immersion’s spectacular demonstrations throughout the night! Puzzle Making immersion had lots of hands-on activities for visitors to try, with different types of 2D and 3D puzzles. Also, the Ceramics immersion had lots of beautiful art pieces, ranging from teapots and tiny plants to abstract pieces.

Spring Athletics

It’s time for spring athletics! This season, MVS is offering girl’s lacrosse, boy’s tennis, boys & girls track, and boys & girls E-sports! Although Esports doesn’t offer a PE credit, it’s a great addition to this spring’s lineup. All sports (minus Esports) require a yearly physical on file before you can practice with the teams. If you turned a form in for a winter or fall sport, it doesn’t expire until June 2022. All forms should be turned in to either the front desk or to Mrs. Kissinger. Start dates vary for each sport, but all sports will observe a family week March 21-25 during spring break!

No School Presidents Day! (February 21st)

This year, it is February 17th! Ms. Kemper has put together a beautiful poster with inspiration for nice things to do to other people. The poster is open to suggestions, so if you would like to add something, go ahead! Time to spread some joy!
